Water Quality Volunteer Monitor Information

Lake Sunapee Protective Association (LSPA), in cooperation with the NH Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) and Colby-Sawyer College (CSC), has one of the most extensive water testing programs in New England. 

A water quality laboratory, supported by the LSPA/DES/CSC partnership, is located in New London, NH, on the CSC campus in the Ivey Science Center Building.  This facility serves as the only NHDES satellite water quality lab in the state.

Sample Drop-off at the Colby-Sawyer/LSPA Lab:

Call to schedule a drop off time during your sampling week. Bottles may be picked up and samples dropped off Monday mornings through Wednesday at noon, only during lab hours and only by calling ahead.  To schedule a drop off time or if you have specific questions, please contact the LSPA Lab Director, Teriko MacConnell, at (603) 526-3486, or email her at teriko.macconnell@colby-sawyer.edu.

NEARSHORE (Cove) MONITORS - 2026
