Shoreline Improvement Project Underway
You may notice construction activity and limited access at Georges Mills Beach for 2–3 weeks, approximately around July 13 and August 14 . We know this may be inconvenient, and we appreciate your patience while this important work is completed.

The beach will remain open during construction. Swimming, boating, and rowing access will continue, although some areas may be temporarily affected and parking will be limited while work is underway. We appreciate your patience as we complete this important project.

This project is designed to:

• Protect the beach from shoreline erosion

• Reduce runoff carrying sediment and nutrients into Lake Sunapee

• Help reduce conditions that contribute to harmful cyanobacteria blooms

• Improve long-term access with new infiltration steps and a kayak launch
