Join Dr. Jess Trout-Haney of Dartmouth and LSPA Burkehaven Fellow Maura Beatty for a look at LSPA’s collaborative cyanobacteria monitoring and research this summer.

Jess and Maura will share what we’ve learned about measuring and tracking cyanobacteria populations in Lake Sunapee. This work has allowed us to establish standardized monitoring protocols and strengthen our research collaborations. The resulting datasets provide essential baseline information for better understanding the drivers of cyanobacterial blooms and the role of cyanobacteria in the lake’s food web.
