Since joining LSPA as a Burkehaven Fellow in 2025, Alyssa Spencer has transformed important water quality data into tools and resources that have been instrumental in the success of projects aimed at improving water quality throughout the Lake Sunapee Watershed. Her work has included mapping septic failure data, modeling water quality risks in the watershed, and creating a new water quality database to analyze and visualize LSPA’s 40 years of water quality data. Her work beautifully communicates key messages about science in a way that is intuitive and engaging for audiences. We hope you will join us to hear more about her work, and how it has enhanced our ability to use our data to inform our community and our actions.
