Invasive Animals

There are other aquatic invasive species in New England such as Zebra mussels, rusty crayfish, and spiny waterflea.

These animals are present in the Connecticut River and Lake Champlain. Fortunately, to our knowledge, they are not as yet in the Sunapee area. However, area residents need to be on the lookout for them as well.
