The Abenaki/Penacook History of the Lake Sunapee Region: A town by town program
Presented by Donna and John Moody in cooperation with the NH Humanities Council
Every town and watershed in New Hampshire has ancient and continuing Native American history. From the recent, late 20th century explosion of local Native population in NH back to the era of early settlement and colonial wars, John and Donna Moody, of the Winter Center for Indigenous Traditions, explore the history of the Abenaki and Penacook people with a focus on the Sunapee Region.
